Randall Dean developed and delivered a highly-rated customized training program today for a group of senior transportation officers and administrators for several public, private, and charter school systems today.  These individuals are all members of the Michigan Association of Pupil Transportation Officers (www.mapt.org), and found the customized program very relevant and useful.  As a matter of fact, 75% of the participants rated the program as "Excellent", with the remainder rating the program as "Above Average".  

The program was designed to provide important time management, personal organization, and work/life balance concepts and strategies within the framework of the unique worklife of school transportation professionals.  Previous "off the shelf" time management programs for this audience missed the mark in terms of applying these concepts and strategies in a direct and relevant way to the unique challenges and nature of the typical MAPT member.  Marilyn Nieman, Transportation Supervisor for Walled Lake Schools and MAPT Board Member, had this to say about the program, "This was the first transportation-specific workshop on this topic, and I believe it is a "must have" for all [transportation] supervisors and managers.  An excellent program -- very relevant."  Chris Schoemann, Assistant Superintendent of Transportation for Huron Valley Schools, echoed Marilyn's comments by saying, "I loved it.  Thank you MAPT for putting this on."
