June 28, 2006 Detroit, Michigan
Randy Dean, President of Randall Dean Consulting & Training, LLC, led a course today titled, "Taming the E-mail and Info Overload Beast".
This course was presented at the Michigan Society for Association Executives' (MSAE) Annual Conference, ORG-PRO, in Detroit, Michigan at the GM Renaissance Center. It was a 1.5 hour program on how to better manage, organize, and administer all of the e-mails that professionals receive, as well as
all of the other sources of information overload (faxes, voice mails, "snail"
mail, articles & reports to read and review, etc.) 100% of the attendees to this
program felt it met stated objectives, and that they would be able to take home new strategies and tools to help their work.
A couple comments from attendees of the course:
"Humor, fun, and practical." "Useful tools to take back and use
immediately." "Lots of good ideas." "Randy is great." "Very
energetic." This same course also did well for the University of Michigan HR Department earlier this year, and they have asked Randy back again for an extended 3-hour session of this program in early 2007.
This course would make a very good Professional Development Program
topic session for just about any corporate, institutional, or organizational staff, as well as a popular and relevant session for just about any conference or association membership meeting.
