Randy Dean to Lead E-mail Program Nov. 2 at Greater Lansing Business Showcase, Share Stage with Izzo and Holman

October 20, 2006  Lansing, East Lansing, Michigan

Randy Dean, President of Randall Dean Consulting & Training, LLC, will get to share the stage in early November with Tom Izzo, famed coach of the Michigan State Spartans Mens Basketball team and winner of the 2000 NCAA Championship, and also Chris Holman, the "business mayor" of Lansing and publisher of the Greater Lansing Business Monthly, at the upcoming Greater Lansing Business Showcase. This event is taking place November 2, 2006, at the Lansing Center in downtown Lansing, and is free to visitors that download the E-Pass at the Business Showcase website ($5 entry fee at the door -- Tom Izzo luncheon has additional fees.)

Dean will share a 30-minute version of his extremely popular course, Taming the E-mail Beast: Managing the Mess of E-mail Overload, a course that he has also recently led to strong reviews in Chicago and Ann Arbor. Randy Dean will also have an exhibit booth at the event (booth 691), where he will share little tips throughout the day on how to save a few minutes of time for visitors at the RDC&T exhibit booth.

Later that same evening, Thursday, November 2, Randy will then lead a more in-depth session of his Taming the E-mail and Info Overload Beast course for the Evening College at Michigan State University. In this 2-hour version of the program, Randy will not only cover strategies for a more sane e-mail account, but he will also explain his practical strategies for getting your office more organized and reducing the clutter in your workspace, with defined strategies for dealing with voice mails, "snail" mail, faxes, instant messenger, articles to read, reports to review, and more. One recent attendee of Randy's more in-depth course reported that, after attending the course and adopting Randy's e-mail management strategies, that she went from 3,800 e-mails in her inbox down to THREE! This course is only $29, well below Randy's typical course rates, and is a real value for people living within a reasonable drive of East Lansing.
