Randall Dean Consulting & Training, LLC currently provides several courses on advanced time management principles, including specific courses on better managing your e-mail and information overload, finding more passion and energy in your work and life, and getting more from your MS Outlook. We also provide specific courses for better utilizing PDA devices and other forms of productivity enhancing technology.

Randy's "flagship" course,  Time Management Strategies for Busy Managers, Leaders, and Professionals, is a half-day to full-day course that provides attendees the information they need to set up a robust personal time management and productivity enhancement system, and was very well received on a national tour that Randy led throughout 2006. Randy also offers a version of this same course specifically for companies and audiences utilizing Microsoft Outlook as their primary organization/e-mail/calendar tool, called Optimizing Your Outlook: Time Management/Personal Organization Strategies for MS Outlook Users. Randy also has a very popular "highlights reel" version of his time management course, called Finding an Extra Hour Every Day. This course is perfect for conference keynote and breakout sessions and shorter-form group meetings, and can be delivered in time frames from 60 minutes to 180 minutes.

Randy also has a course that goes beyond the tactical nature of typical time management/productivity enhancement courses, and focuses on those things that instead drive longer-term passion and energy for your work and career. This course, (RE)Awakening the Passion and Energy in Your Work (and Life!), is based on principles Randy originally developed in his book, "Major Satisfactors = Major Success: A Unique New Way to Look at How We All Spend, Use, and Waste Our Time." It doesn't go as deep into tactical strategies, but instead looks at the bigger-picture, holistic, and very personal things that drive more passion in and for your work, as well as identifying those annoying, busy work type of activities that squelch energy and passion in your work. Attendees of this course do many personal exercises that lead to a personal plan for improving their work and their life, with Randy acting more as a facilitator than a program leader.

Perhaps Randy's most popular course right now is his Taming the E-mail Beast: Managing the Mess of E-mail and Information Overload course. With so many professionals struggling with "out of control" e-mail accounts and the general "overflow of information", Randy is one of the few speakers and training professionals that provides tangible strategies related to better managing your e-mail account and your information overload -- voice mails, "snail" mail, article to read, reports to review, and even those pesky interruptions. Randy can deliver a shorter form of the program (45-90 minutes) that is appropriate for shorter meetings and conference settings, or the fully intensive 2-3 hour training version appropriate for internal staff audiences and teams. Randy is even in the process of working with another expert speaker/trainer on a full-day version of this course, which will also include instruction on how to craft better e-mail messages -- more professional and also meeting the business communication situation.

Randy also offers a targeted course on another "time stealer" in the corporate/organizational setting -- meetings. Randy's "Managing and Leading Great Staff and Team Meetings" course gets meeting leaders and attendees to understand why meetings are an important business tool, but also why they can become one of the most aggravating and unproductive business time uses. Randy then shares specific strategies and tips on how to get so much more out of your internal staff and team meetings, including for targeted kinds of meetings, including staff meetings, project team meetings, project planning meetings, brainstorming meetings, and even committee assignments.

Randall Dean Consulting & Training also provides courses on advanced PDA usage.  The primary course, The PDA Power Program: Time Management/Personal Organization Strategies for PDA Users, covers many of the same topics as the Time Management for Busy Managers, Leaders, and Professionals course, but is designed specifically for PDA users (Palm, Pocket PC, and/or Blackberry).  The PDA Power Hour: Great Tips for PDA Users is also designed as a "highlights reel" version of Randy's PDA Power Program course, to be delivered to an audience in 45 to 90 minutes.

Each of these programs can be customized for any particular audience, conference setting, or membership meeting. All of these programs can help you and your staff improve their performance and satisfaction in their work and in their lives. Use the links below to find more information on each of these programs.  Please contact Randall Dean Consulting & Training, LLC, for more details.
